How our approach is different
People often arrive at Sluzzle after trying many different things to help their sleep:
Other routes people explore
Sleep Hygiene (e.g. no screens & exercise)
CBT-I apps / programmes
Supplements & Remedies
Meditation / Relaxation apps
Sluzzle is different because…
It goes beyond habits, routines and bedroom tips.
It’s not about strict protocols, tracking or sleep rules.
It doesn’t involve taking products or sleep aids.
It’s not about trying to force a state of “calm” each night.
We understandably want an easy overnight solution, but sleep doesn’t usually respond well to this.
Good sleepers don’t try to make sleep happen.
They’re not fixating on it, trying to force it or get it exactly right.
Sleep is allowed to come and go naturally in the background of life.
So when sleep is difficult, it’s scary and understandable to try lots of things to help you sleep.
But effort adds pressure.
Sluzzle approaches sleep differently by focusing on the following issues with sleep:
Anxieties
Stress
Frustrations
Panic
Control
Self-Criticism
Perfectionism
Fixation
Not by telling you to “just stop worrying about it”, but by teaching evidence-based ACT & CFT psychological skills that help slow things down and lower the pressure at night.

Why we go step by step
Access is spread over a few months to give you time to engage with the ideas in a more natural, less rushed way.
Sluzzle is designed to be worked through once in bite sized step by step 10 minute sessions.
Most people find it more helpful to explore a few sessions each week, rather than trying to rush through everything at once.
You’ll find different clinician courses inside, not because you need to complete them all, but so you can choose the psychologist that resonates most with you.
